PAX DI ROMANI NEW WORLD CHURCH

THE DECLARATION OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM & SACRED IDENTITY

Pax Di Romani New World Church stands upon the constitutional foundation of the First Amendment, which guarantees freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of peaceable assembly, and the freedom to protest injustice. These protections affirm our right to define our theology, express our doctrine, gather as a community, and speak openly about the persecution that has shaped both our founder’s experience and our ministry’s mission.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ forms the mythic center of our theological identity. As our canon states, “The crucifixion of Jesus stands not merely as a historical event but as a mythopoetic axis — the moment where divine truth confronts imperial violence.” This moment is not only a symbol of suffering but a universal pattern of resistance against domination — racial, gendered, and ideological. Rome’s execution of Christ was both political and theological, a suppression of a radical message that proclaimed equality before God. In Afrocentric and Islamic readings, this mirrors the martyrdom of prophets and sages who defied empire, from Moses before Pharaoh to Bilal ibn Rabah, who endured torture for proclaiming “Ahad, Ahad” — One God.

The early Christian community lived under waves of persecution, from Nero’s scapegoating to Diocletian’s Great Persecution. These were systemic attempts to control narrative and identity. The Church’s survival in catacombs parallels the African diaspora’s endurance under colonialism and the Muslim community’s perseverance under Quraysh oppression. Pax Di Romani restores the prophetic voice that empire sought to silence.

Racism, though unnamed in antiquity, was embedded in imperial hierarchies. Persecution was not only religious but racialized — the erasure of African and Eastern voices from the Christian narrative. Pax Di Romani restores the sacred geography of revelation by honoring Jerusalem, Mecca, and Axum as equal pillars of divine truth. This reclamation is essential to our founder’s narrative, for her race has been used to delegitimize her religious authority, mirroring the ancient erasure of African voices from Christian history.

Censorship, both ancient and modern, reveals fear — fear of liberation through knowledge. “The burning of Christian scriptures under Diocletian echoes modern censorship,” our canon states. Revelation cannot be destroyed; it reemerges through oral tradition, art, song, and the mythopoetic imagination.

Genderism, the systemic privileging of masculine divinity, has long distorted sacred balance. The persecution of women’s voices “parallels the crucifixion itself: truth embodied in flesh, silenced, yet resurrected.” Pax Di Romani restores the Divine Feminine as Sophia, Mary, Fatimah, and Yemaya — the cosmic womb of revelation and the counterpart to the Logos.

Modern persecution takes the form of racism, censorship, and genderism — “modern crucifixions,” nails driven into the body of truth. Pax Di Romani confronts these crucifixions not with escape but with transformation. Resurrection is not merely a return but a transfiguration — the emergence of truth in new cultural, artistic, and spiritual forms.

Our ministry meets all major criteria for religious legitimacy: sincere belief, coherent doctrine, historical continuity, scriptural foundation, devotional practice, congregational identity, ethical framework, protected ministerial role, peaceable assembly, expressive speech, religious practice, and the right to protest persecution.

Pax Di Romani New World Church declares its full religious legitimacy. Our doctrine is a lawful religious system. Our founder is a protected religious leader. Our mission to eradicate racial, gendered, and ideological persecution is a constitutional right and a divine calling.

This is our identity. This is our canon. This is our declaration. This is our protection
